Who is Jessica Quiles?

More than a salsa instructor — a passion brought to life through movement.

I was born in 1988, in beautiful Bayamón, Puerto Rico. I started ballet, jazz and bomba/plena in the Art School of Bayamón and Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Salsa was also one of my passions in my early years. Some of my Salsa/Mambo teachers were Papito Jala Jala, Tito Ortos and Angel Martinez.

Some of my greatest experiences has been the honor to dance in many salsa orchestras and famous singer’s concerts. For example, Sonora PonceNa, El Gran Combo, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Jerry Rivera to name a few. I have also been selected as part of the cast in the movie Havana night (2004), among other productions and reality shows such as Quien Baila Mejor and Premio Los Nuestros.

I hold a degree in Business Administration and Telecommunications from the University of Sacred Heart (Spanish) in Puerto Rico. I take great pride in obtaining higher education degrees as they have help me build my career as a solo artist who also does their own branding and marketing.

Traveling the world has also been an integral part of my dance career. I lived in Italy for 11 years teaching in different dance schools such as the Sosa Academy. I also had the opportunity to travel around the world and perform at congresses as a couple performance duo with Marco Ferrigno, Jesus Aponte, and Julio Rojas. Traveling the world has opened so many doors and I am thankful to enjoy the beauty that the world has to offer through the art of dance.

I was recognized as a World Champion Soloist 3 times, and have taken my knowledge and skill and have created my own brand. I have been teaching the famous “Tito Ortos Method” for 4 years in the most important dance school of Bayamon and around the world, and have built women's teams all over the world.

Building my own brand has been a dream come true, and I cannot wait to continue to do more here in Tampa, Florida.

So if you want to train with me and take classes, I invite you to join my little dance world.

Some of my experience:

My Style of Teaching

I use a combination of counts and musicality and focus a lot on proper technique and body movement.

So much of salsa revolves around the music and the instrumentation as well as a combination of movements and styles.

In my classes you will get movements broken down and will get individual instruction so you know how to properly move your body for your individual structure and will learn the different styles of salsa that make the beautiful dance that it is.

I focus on every single part of the body from your toes to your head so that you can learn to move and look like a professional dancer.

I also incorporate a lot of fusion into my classes so I combine a mixture of different latin style dances as well as hip hop and contemporary.

What makes me different:

Salsa isn’t just a skill I teach—it’s a language I live and breathe. My approach goes beyond choreography: I help students connect with the music, their bodies, and their confidence. With years of international experience and a deep respect for Latin culture, I create a space where technique meets emotion, and movement becomes personal. Whether you're dancing for fun or aiming for the stage, I guide you to express your unique rhythm with authenticity and flair

Learn salsa in a fun, fast, and pressure-free way.
